Kristen, Registered Dental Hygienist
Kristen, Dr. Duggan’s hygienist, received her dental hygiene degree in 2005 from the Farmingdale State College. Prior to dental hygiene school, Kristen completed a Bachelor of Science in public health at SUNY College at Old Westbury. She is licensed in the administration of local infiltration anesthesia as well as nitrous oxide analgesia.
Kristen enjoys getting to know her patients individually and providing them with high-quality dental hygiene care. She has a special interest in periodontal treatments and loves to help people regain and maintain their oral health. Her professional training and personal experience make her a valuable member of the Duggan Dental Group team.
In her spare time, Kristen loves to travel (especially to Europe) and to bake. You can even find some of her baking treats on the Web!
Regina, Registered Dental Hygienist
Regina is a board-certified registered dental hygienist with additional certification in local anesthesia and nitrous oxide analgesia. She is also certified in basic life support and CPR. Regina started her dental career as an assistant when she was 16. then attended Farmingdale State College and SUNY Stony Brook University. Passionate about oral health, Regina helps each of her patients achieve a healthy smile.
Regina loves riding her Harley on beautiful, sunny days and running and training for marathons. Along with her husband and family, Regina enjoys camping trips and skiing. She is an avid volunteer with and supporter of the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America, as well.
Ann Marie, Dental Hygienist
Ann Marie graduated from Farmingdale State College. She has additional certifications and training in local anesthesia, nitrous oxide, basic life support, CPR, and infection control. With her gentle hands and manner, she helps patients keep their smiles healthy and bright. Ann Marie especially enjoys teaching people about the importance of oral health and motivating people to make healthy decisions.
Away from the office, Ann Marie enjoys cooking and family trips upstate with her fiancé and two young sons. She’s an avid supporter of autism research, as well.
Katherine, Dental Hygienist
Katherine is one of the newest members of the Duggan Dental team, but is an experienced, gentle dental hygienist. She graduated from the Agricultural and Technical College at SUNY Farmingdale, where she earned her associate’s degree in applied science. Through numerous continuing education courses, Katherine has added to her training and certifications in oral cancer health protocol, infection control, CPR, periodontics, and many more. She enjoys meeting new people and helping each develop the beautiful, healthy smile they deserve.
In her spare time, Katherine enjoys exercising, gardening, boating, and going to the beach. Time with her three children is always her priority!
Tinamarie, Dental Hygienist
Tinamarie earned her dental hygienist degree at SUNY Farmingdale. Through continuing education, she has additional training and certifications in local anesthesia, nitrous oxide, CPR, and OSHA. Working one-to-one with patients, Tinamarie shows them the best way to keep their oral cavity clean, so they can enjoy a lifetime of optimal dental health and wonderful smiles.
Tinamarie and her husband Jeff have three sons: Anthony, and the twins, Angelo and Vincent. When she’s not helping her patients achieve and maintain healthy smiles, Tinamarie likes spending days at the beach and tending to her tomatoes and fig tree in her garden. She also enjoys baking and crocheting.
Our Dental Assistants
Danielle, Clinical Assistant
Danielle chose to work in the dental field because she likes teaching patients about the importance of good oral health and how it impacts the whole body. She’s often heard saying, “Healthy mouth, healthy body!” Her compassionate and caring nature alleviates many people’s dental anxieties, and reassures each that everything will be okay, Danielle helps patients feel comfortable and relaxed, and makes their dental visits positive experiences.
Danielle enjoys going to church, participating in Bible studies, and reading the Bible daily with her family. She is a teacher in the children’s ministries at her church and enjoys teaching the word of God. A good portion of Danielle’s time is spent caring for her sister who has cerebral palsy, which helps her parents. She enjoys working with people who have special needs.
Deborah, Dental Assistant
Deborah has been a dental assistant for more than 40 years. She graduated from East Islip High School and earned her dental assisting certification at Boces. Working chairside, Deborah assists the doctor with various dental procedures. At the same time, she keeps the patient informed of what they’re doing and checks to make sure they’re comfortable.
When she’s not at work, Deborah enjoys gardening, cooking, reading, and spending time with family and friends, especially her handsome son. Now a widow, she was married for 34 years.
Maria, Dental Assistant
Maria’s is one of the first friendly faces you’ll see at Duggan Dental Group. She graduated from the Dental Auxiliary Training Center, co-sponsored by the Suffolk County Dental Society. Maria provides chairside assistance, helping the doctor and supporting the patient. At the end of a procedure, she offers home care instructions and checks to make sure our patient is happy with everything that’s happened.
Away from the office, Maria loves time with her beautiful family. She enjoys oil painting, baking, time in nature, going to the beach, and playing Candy Crush.
Andrew, Office Manager
Andy serves our patient family and is also Dr. Duggan’s brother. An expert in dental insurance, Andrew will help you understand how your plan works and strive to maximize your benefits. Because Duggan Dental Group offers a variety of payment plans, Andrew is able to find ways to make your dental care affordable so you don’t need to worry. Additionally, his ability to understand each patient’s needs allows him to set our schedule so we run on time and you never feel rushed.
Prior to joining the team, Andrew served as an NCO with the United States Air Force. He’s been able to translate the discipline and skills he learned there to benefit the practice. During his free time, you’ll often find Andrew on the golf course. As a novice golfer, he trusts that with patience and practice, as with most things in life, his game will improve.
Donna, Business Coordinator
Donna is one of the warm, friendly, helpful people you’ll meet at Duggan Dental Group, where she’s our business coordinator.
Prior to joining Dr. Duggan’s team, Donna was a stay-at-home mother of three beautiful children. Away from the office, she enjoys time with her family, especially on their boat, and going to the beach.
Kim has been a secretary for 30 years. She worked for Dr. Seylar and Dr. O’Shaughnessy for 14 years before joining Duggan Dental Group. You’ll meet her when you step into the office and she’ll always greet you by name and with a welcoming smile.
Kim is married, has three children, and is a breast cancer survivor. Outside of work, she enjoys bike riding and family trips to Montauk.
